Meet Alexandria Stratton, a junior majoring in Political Science and Sociology. She discovered the ATLAS Internship Program through her own research and joined for the opportunity to participate in a structured internship experience. As a social media specialist at Feeding Our Kids, Alexandria writes post content that promotes their mission and makes graphics for Instagram & Facebook. At least once a week, Alexandria participates in a status meeting for all interns and assists fellow interns with marketing ideas. At this moment, Alexandria is working on making weekly posts and creating a campaign flyer; she also responds to other requests made by the organization due to the end of their fiscal year.
The ATLAS internship has allowed Alexandria to improve her social media communications and time management skills, and has given her an increased knowledge base on non-profit organizations.
In addition to attending classes, Alexandria loves to explore new areas and so far has visited the top of twelve U.S. states with her husband.
Upon graduation from college, Alexandria wants to work in Non-Profit Administration.
