Meet Emily Yan, a senior majoring in Organizational Psychology. She heard about the ATLAS Internship Program through the program website. She wanted to join the program to gain experience in social media management. During her time at the ATLAS Internship Program, she was a Social Media intern for the Women and Gender in Global Perspectives (WGGP). During her time as an intern, she created graphics and flyers, promotes upcoming events across different platforms, and runs analytics on those posts. Right now, Yan utilizes Canva to create posts for the WGGP. She gained a better understanding of time management, organization, problem-solving, and graphic design.
When she is able to take time away from school and work, Yan enjoys getting Iced Matcha Lattes from Dunkin’!
Emily plans on going to graduate school to get her master’s degree in human-computer interaction and plans to continue working as a Social Media Manager.
