Alexandria Stratton

Alexandria Stratton is a senior majoring in Political Science, Sociology, and World Literature. Alexandria is a Social Media Specialist for Feeding Our Kids. Alexandria participates regularly in food distribution initiatives, directly serving over 1,000 local children; facilitates the planning of major organizational events and projects, notably serving on the event planning committee for the organization's 10-year anniversary celebration; prioritizes the strategic success of the 2022 and 2023 year-end campaign outreach initiatives to lead to a substantial boost in donorship and community support; crafts social media content to bolster the organization's mission, generating heightened engagement on platforms such as Instagram and Facebook; organized the new design and implementation of the annual report, ensuring a visually captivating representation of Feeding Our Kids' achievements and initiatives; and developed and maintained a dynamic newsletter template, consistently delivering pertinent information across seasonal editions (Fall, Spring, and Summer).

Currently, Alexandria is working on the 2023–2024 Feeding Our Kids Winter Newsletter. Additionally, Alexandria continues to work on the social media content. Alexandria also recently became eligible for monetization and has been looking into how to make that work for current content as well as future content.

After graduation, Alexandria will be attending Truman State University in the Fall to get a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration Leadership. Additionally, Alexandria has been applying for jobs to become an admissions counselor or academic advisor. Through the internship, Alexandria has learned so many soft and hard skills that are proving very helpful. The experience with CRM's and data management systems has been extremely useful, and communication skills in general are key in any position.
