Anoushka Grover, a senior majoring in Statistics with minors in Data Science and Business, joined the ATLAS Internship Programafter learning about it through department communications. Anoushka saw ATLAS as an opportunity to apply her quantitativebackground in a professional setting while growing through mentorship and hands-on experience. Now in her third semester, shecontinues to make a measurable impact as a Data Analyst Intern working with Earnest Agriculture.

In her role, Anoushka analyzes multi-sheet Excel datasets from 2023–2025 field trials, mapping agronomic key performanceindicators like stand count and yield. She derives insights from treatment-region trends and translates findings into farmer-alignedrecommendations that inform stakeholder strategy and reporting. Beyond analysis, she designs structured, data-driven PDF insightdocuments that visualize and summarize historical trial results; these reports are integrated into the company’s website to improvetransparency and public accessibility. Through this work, Anoushka has strengthened her expertise in data cleaning, structuringcomplex datasets, identifying regional performance patterns, and transforming raw data into clear, actionable insights for bothinternal teams and external audiences.

Equally important has been her growth in professional communication and strategic thinking. Regular client check-ins havesharpened her ability to adapt technical explanations for non-technical stakeholders. Anoushka has also strengthened her timemanagement skills by balancing weekly deadlines alongside long-term project objectives. A key lesson she carries forward is todesign every analysis with the end user in mind, whether that is a farmer, product manager, or researcher. Understanding how yourwork fits into a broader mission helps you communicate results more clearly and prioritize the metrics that matter. Looking ahead,Anoushka plans to pursue graduate study in Financial Engineering or Business Analytics and ultimately work in quantitative rolesthat integrate data, strategy, and real-world problem-solving. Outside of school, she enjoys sketching and rarely goes a day withoutcoffee — her favorite creative fuel!
