Carlton Yuan Bo Woo, a sophomore Astronomy major, joined the ATLAS Internship Program after hearing about it from his academic advisor, seeking hands-on experience that connects technology with science. As a Virtual Reality (VR) Department Intern under Michael Scott Summers, he contributed to projects like the Quad Game, developing features such as the Block Snap Project, Jump Feature, and Parkour Game. Through this experience, Carlton strengthened his skills in C# programming, Unity development, and Meta VR, while also improving communication and time management. He plans to pursue a career combining computer science and astronomy, focusing on simulation, visualization, and AI-driven research. In his free time, he enjoys writing science fiction novels inspired by the cosmos.
