Christopher Jimenez is a Senior studying Economics.
Christopher is a Data Analyst for ATLAS, who is working with Professor Wilcox to study the change in enrollment trends of humanities majors at the university, and create a survey to better understand the sentiment and prospects of students enrolled in the humanities fields. This summer, he hopes to develop his ability to analyze and interpret data using a preferred software, and to develop proficiency in Tableau software. Christopher also hopes to develop his teamwork and time management skills. Christopher first learned about ATLAS through Handshake, and has been a part of the program since the Spring of 2019.
After graduating, Christopher would like to work for the state of Illinois as a data or crime analyst. Christopher can’t live without Mexican food, and the strangest thing he’s seen on campus is a student walking down Wright street wearing a tuxedo, while dragging a stuffed animal on a leash.
