Meet C.J. Tinzie, a junior majoring in Psychology at the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign and currently serving as an IT Intern at the Spurlock Museum. Through the ATLAS Internship Program, he has been able to connect his interest in people with hands-on technical experience, building webpages for museum events, setting up computers for staff, and providing day-to-day tech support. During his internship, Cj has strengthened his skills in HTML coding, macOS setup, time management, and teamwork—while also learning how to problem-solve effectively when creating and maintaining webpages. Looking ahead, he hopes to pursue a career that blends psychology with technology, possibly in human resources or another people-focused tech field. Outside of work and academics, Cj is also a proud member of the University of Illinois lacrosse team.
