Meet Cohen Jancola, a senior majoring in Communication. The ATLAS program was initially brought to his attention through department emails and newsletters, and he decided to join to acquire major-related experience as he got closer to graduation. As a first-semester ATLAS program member, Cohen is a communications specialist for First Christian Church. He is responsible for visual creation, post-creation for social media, and writing emails.
Through his time in the program, he has become proficient in using Canva and overall graphic design. He’s also improved at writing emails and managing social media. He also credits ATLAS for helping him improve his communication and organization and credits the program for helping him understand the importance of prioritizing his time.
Upon graduation, Cohen plans to enter a career in public relations, human relations, advertising, or marketing. Cohen is big on traveling and spent a semester abroad in Austria.
