Emily Ali is a senior majoring in Psychology and Communication. Emily works with Tina Knox, Assistant Director for Advising and Recruitment for the School of Molecular and Cellular Biology, as a Business Process Improvement Trainee. Her responsibilities include helping organizations run more efficiently by eliminating redundancy, reducing errors, and improving business processes while ensuring client satisfaction. Currently, Emily is working on improving a business process in FormBuilder by creating a new form for MCB 290 students applying to conduct research with approved faculty labs.
Emily plans to pursue a career in human resources, preferably in the hotel industry, and hopes to remain in Chicago. Through her internship, she has gained professionalism, self-sufficiency, accountability, helpfulness, and experience using FormBuilder and other technologies. In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with friends, and her favorite music artist is Metallica.
