Fernanda Rodriguez-Delgado is a senior majoring in Sociology. As an intern under the mentorship of Donald Smith, Fernanda assumes the role of Documentation Specialist, entrusted with the vital task of transferring and formatting documents for the UPB Foreign National Service Center and UPB Administration.Fernanda transforms old-format documents into accurate and streamlined formats, utilizing advanced tools like Microsoft OneNote to organize information with precision. Watching training videos, she transcribes vital information into comprehensive documents, complete with numerical steps and screenshots, ensuring clarity and accessibility. Through her internship with ATLAS and UPB, she hones her communication skills, mastering the intricacies of Microsoft Teams and OneNote. She learns the art of formatting documents to exact specifications, a skill that will serve her well in her future endeavors. With aspirations to work in a hospital NICU, she envisions a future where she can make a tangible difference in the lives of newborns and their families, fostering health and healing. A fun fact about Fernanda would be that she enjoys podcasts, as she always finds herself listening to them when completing tasks.
