Jiayi Song

Jiayi Song is a sophomore majoring in Statistics and serves as the Email Coding & Analysis Lead of the Data Analyst team for The Student Money Management Center. Her responsibilities include regularly coding the University Bursar email data, conducting statistical testing on the data to recognize correlations, and completing miscellaneous tasks such as finding baseline metrics for certain data. Currently, Jiayi is learning how to build a Tableau dashboard for the social media platforms used by the Student Money Management Center to automate the data analysis and visualization process. Through her internship, she has strengthened her teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. After finishing her education, Jiayi hopes to pursue a career in the biostatistics field, preferably in public health or the pharmaceutical field. One fun fact about Jiayi is that she can drink water while lying down.
