Joanna Jiang

Joanna Jiang, a sophomore student, joined the ATLAS Internship Program to gain valuable experience and practical skills. After hearing about the program from friends and classmates, she decided to take the opportunity to expand her knowledge and develop professionally. In her role as an LMS Specialist for ATLAS, Joanna has engaged in various responsibilities, including learning about the mission, vision, and community partners of ATLAS, providing entry services under staff supervision, and participating in projects to improve intern engagement on the ATLAS Internship Program's Canvas space. During her two semesters in the program, Joanna has enhanced her communication skills significantly. She also gained insights into teamwork and marketing; this semester, she learned how to effectively collaborate with her team members, while last semester, she focused on developing marketing skills. These experiences have helped her build a well-rounded skill set that will be valuable in future roles. In the future, Joanna aims to secure an internship where she can apply the skills she’s learned through ATLAS to make a meaningful impact. Outside of her academic, she enjoys traditional Chinese cuisine.
