Meet Leo Lee, a sophomore majoring in Math and Computer Science. Leo first heard about the Internship Program through department emails and newsletters, and decided to apply to learn new technological skills for his future career endeavors. His role in the program was as a Virtual Reality Intern with ATLAS as his client, working under Associate Dean for Technology & Online Learning, Randy McCarthy, and Web App Developer, Michael Sommers. Leo’s responsibilities included developing VR mini-games for the purpose of learning and improving his proficiency in creating immersive virtual reality experiences.
