Lexi Voelkel is a junior majoring in English. She discovered the ATLAS internship program through her academic advisor and joined to gain experience in a supportive, low-pressure working environment.
Lexi works as a social media specialist for Feeding Our Kids. She created and designed social media content for Facebook and Instagram, while enhancing the company website and assisting with media projects like newsletters.
During her ATLAS internship, she developed valuable skills in design, communication, and social media management, appreciating the opportunity to take on diverse projects that helped her grow both creatively and professionally.
Lexi’s future goal is to enter the publishing industry and produce literature. Her experience in content creation and media design will help her develop a foundation in storytelling and digital communication, both essential for her future career.
In spring 2025, she will study abroad in Vienna, where she plans to broaden her perspectives and deepen her understanding of global cultures.
