Lexi Voelkel

Lexi Voelkel is a sophomore majoring in English with a minor in Media and Public Relations and works with Michelle Rome as a Communication Specialist. She is on the Communication Specialist Team, where her role involves working collaboratively to create a monthly newsletter. She and her team not only write content but also design graphics and images to enhance the overall presentation of the material on the page. She is currently working on the March newsletter by collecting information from the ATLAS website, a coordinator, and the other teams to include in the newsletter. Her team also uses a website to create the newsletter template and is about to start working on the graphics and theme of the newsletter. Through her ATLAS Internship, Lexi has developed enhanced written and verbal communication, creativity, technology, time management, proactivity, and confident presentation skills. In the future, she plans to work in PR or publishing, although she is not exactly sure yet, and ATLAS has definitely helped her get closer to figuring out her ideal career. Fun fact: She loves to travel and plans to study abroad!
