Minyu Cheng, a freshman majoring in Computer Science and Philosophy. As an intern under Michelle Rome, Minyu assumes the role of Website Developer, tasked with collaborating with a teammate to receive training and revamp the current ATLAS website. During this project, he communicates with our client through email, Microsoft Teams, and periodical meetings to clarify our goals. Right now he is building the new ATLAS website on WordPress. Since the original website is on Drupal, revamping the website requires a lot of learning and testing, especially for building the features that are different between Drupal and WordPress. Currently, the overall structure of the new website is finished. He will work with my client and teammate to finish building the rest of the contents. For his future he plans on continuing to practice website development skills. Minyu shares that throught his ATLAS internship he was able to expand on communication and collaboration that has been critical in his new role.Minyu also carries a fun fact – a towering height of 6'4'' attained during middle school!
