Muskaan Nath

Muskaan Nath is a Sophomore studying Brain and Cognitive Science. She works as a Communications Specialist for Cristina Alveraz (Center for Social and Behavioral Science). Her responsibilities include implementing content strategy across multiple channels of social media, including Facebook and Twitter, by creating relevant posts designed to develop awareness, generate inbound traffic, and cultivate leads to research teams and grants. Content strategy includes posting regularly (e.g., daily and weekly) on social media. In collaboration with the CSBS team, she defines, collects, and reviews social media metrics, tracks statistics and analytics for social media and the podcast, and works with the CSBS team to develop, implement, and edit CSBS podcasts, including scheduling recordings and helping with promotions. She is currently working on editing the new podcast for the month of July. While she has not decided on her future career plans yet, she has learned how to conduct weekly meetings, work with a team, target audiences with content-related posts, raise awareness regarding events, maintain the image of the department, find content related to the promotion of the department’s mission, meet deadlines, and maintain a work-life balance. A fun fact about Muskaan is that her favorite TV series is Friends.
