Natalie Nguyen is a junior majoring in Political Science. She heard about the ATLAS Internship Program through department emails and newsletters. She decided to join ATLAS because she wanted to do more during her summertime, and especially connect with other parts of campus and campus staff. Natalie is a social media and website overseer for the Department of Comparative & World Literature. Her responsibilities include updating the current department website with updated events and making sure that the website is clean for upcoming students. She is also creating an online social media presence and network for incoming students, primarily using the app Instagram, and brainstorming and creating visual aspects for the Instagram page.
Natalie's technical skills gained are mainly website programming. The biggest soft skill that she is currently developing in her internship is communication and time management. She notes that with various things going on in her personal life, these two skills are crucial for a successful time for her placement team leaders.
Natalie's current future career plan is aiming to go to law school. A fun fact about Natalie is that her favorite past time is to craft and watch movies, with her top four being Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Saving Face, Sing Sing, and First Reformed.
