Nathaniel Huang is a junior majoring in Economics and Statistics. On the recommendation of his career advisor, he applied to the ATLAS Internship Program to gain experience to further his career development.
Nathaniel interned as a research operations intern with the LAS Office of Research. During his internship, he maintained a database of research activity from LAS faculty on Airtable through composing descriptions of research activity, assigning research themes such as Equity and Access to Systems, Human-Centered AI and Data Science, and Health and Well Being, and entering links to professional or lab websites for faculty members. Nathaniel also created interfaces on Airtable to visualize trends in research activity for LAS academic departments.
Nathaniel's fun fact is his favorite video games are Pokemon and Fire Emblem. He listens to their in-game soundtracks regularly.
Nathaniel intends to enter the work industry in transportation or logistics.
