Nino Stezen is a senior majoring in Political Science and Communication. He heard of the ATLAS internship program through his academic advisor, as well as friends and classmates. Nino joined ATLAS in order to gain transferable technical skills in a constantly advancing world, and through his internship, he has learned a vast range of techniques and strategies for the optimization of technology.
Nino is a Workflow Analyst intern for the ATLAS Business Process Improvement Team. His responsibilities include reorganizing and reformatting a form on Formbuilder to enhance palatability, adding routing triggers to a form to change the timeline the form is available, and updating and adding security groups to forms as needed to ensure the right individuals have access to their respective forms.
Nino has gained technical skills in troubleshooting, form curation, automation of frequently used business applications, and in using and navigating Formbuilder, and has improved his Office 365 and Zoom proficiency while completing his internship tasks. He has also developed skills in communication, time management, public speaking, conflict resolution, and flexibility.
From his ATLAS internship, Nino learned how small process changes can result in big impacts. He learned that streamlining on step can improve speed, and reduce errors through his analysis of workflows and identification of inefficiencies. Nino understands the value of digging into details, asking the right questions, and being open to feedback in order to improve himself. In his future, Nino is pursuing a career in Human Resources or Industrial Relations. He plans to build employee morale and push forward the Corporate Social Responsibility of a company to make a change and positive impact on the community. Fun fact, Nino played the violin for 6 years.
