Olivia Koller is a junior majoring in Studio Art who joined the ATLAS Internship Program to gain hands-on experience while having the creative flexibility to support an organization she cared about. She heard about the program through department emails and newsletters and is now serving as a Marketing and Communications Intern with McKeever Health and Clinical Services, LLC.
In her internship, Olivia creates graphics for the organization's Facebook account, analyzes engagement metrics, and develops content ideas for future interns. Through these projects, she has expanded her graphic design skills by teaching herself new Adobe Illustrator techniques to match her client's branding, while also strengthening her professional communication skills through consistent collaboration using Google Chat.
One of the most valuable lessons Olivia has learned is the importance of time management. She discovered that staying on top of weekly deliverables requires setting aside dedicated time each day to check messages, respond to teammates, and keep up with project updates. Looking ahead, Olivia hopes to become an in-house designer for a furniture company, where she can design and develop products. Outside of work, she enjoys longboarding on warm summer nights.
