Prisha Singh

Prisha Singh is a sophomore majoring in Mathematics who joined the ATLAS Internship Program to apply her technical skills in impactful, real-world projects. With previous experience in healthcare, she was inspired by the role of technology in improving processes and positively affecting lives. As a Website Development Intern for LAS professors, groups, and departments, Prisha’s responsibilities included creating technical documentation, ensuring web accessibility per DRES standards, and designing websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Through Prisha’s internship, she gained expertise in web development, particularly in Drupal and WordPress, and developed strong documentation skills for future website users. She also strengthened her communication skills and problem-solving abilities by working closely with a diverse team and navigating project challenges. In the future, Prisha aims to pursue a career that combines software engineering or data analysis within mission-driven organizations, especially in sectors like healthcare or education focused on inclusivity. She hopes to contribute to accessibility driven projects and take on leadership roles. In her free time, Prisha enjoys playing pickleball, blending competition with fun and fitness.
