Meet Rachel Moy, a senior studying Sociology and Political Science who joined the ATLAS Internship Program to build more experience with technology. As the Marketing and Advertisement Designer for the Center for South Asian and Middle Eastern Studies (CSAMES), she creates weekly newsletters, promotional flyers, and contributes to the center’s annual newsletter. Through her internship, Rachel has strengthened her technical abilities in graphic design and advertising while also developing key soft skills in communication and time management. One important lesson she’s taking away is that strong organization and clear communication are essential to succeeding in any professional role. She plans to attend law school after graduation—and in her free time, she enjoys crocheting
