Safa Waqar is a junior majoring in economics with a minor in business. She works as a Data Analyst for the Badges Program in the Student Money Management Center at UFSCO. This program hopes to expand students' financial literacy. Safa says her time interning with ATLAS has helped her to come out of her comfort zone, as well as expanding her technical, team work, and public speaking skills. 

On campus, Safa is involved in APO, which is a service fraternity. She also participates in the UIUC Economics Club. After graduation, she would ideally like to work for KPMG, a multinational accounting organization. Lastly, Safa's favorite restaurant on campus is Bangkok Thai!
