Meet Sarah Rattigan, a senior majoring in Economics at the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign, currently serving as a BPI Workflow Analyst Intern with the ATLAS BPI Team. Sarah joined the ATLAS Internship Program to gain hands-on experience in economics and business processes, and has been developing efficient digital forms for departments across campus, including advisor selection and travel reimbursement workflows. Through this role, she has strengthened her technical skills in FormBuilder and learned to quickly adapt to new systems, while also building soft skills in communication, time management, and professional presentation. One key lesson she is taking away from her internship is the importance of thoughtful planning to stay organized and on top of multiple responsibilities. Looking ahead, Sarah hopes to pursue a career in human resources, specifically as a compensation and benefits analyst--and a fun fact about her: she can solve a Rubik’s cube in just 50 seconds!
