Saturn Peppers is a junior majoring in Sociology and is interning with the Women’s and Global in Global Perspective Programs. As a Social Media Specialist, she helps contribute to the team by making posters for events that the program hosts. These posters are displayed throughout the university digitally and physically. She also helps plan events and provides her student outlook on what could improve for future events. She is currently working on badge ID pictures that the panel will be given for the conference the department is hosting in April.
Looking ahead, Saturn is not entirely sure about her career plans but is interested in marketing or advertising that also includes her interest in social media. Through her internship, she has developed skills in communication strategy, community engagement, promotion of programs and services, collaboration with associations, customer service, bookkeeping, content creation, graphic design software, videography, photography, Excel, and event planning. A fun fact about Saturn is that her favorite movie is Disney Atlantis.
