Serina Farah is a junior majoring in Political Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Communications Intern for the Non-Tenure Faculty Coalition (NTFC) through the ATLAS Internship Program. In this role, she designs social media graphics, updates website content, and contributes to monthly newsletters, helping strengthen NTFC’s outreach across campus. Through the internship, Serina has developed skills in content creation, website management, and digital communication, while also strengthening her teamwork and time-management abilities. One key lesson she has learned is the importance of clear, consistent communication to keep projects organized and collaborative. Looking ahead, Serina plans to attend law school and pursue a career in advocacy, and in her free time she enjoys watching her favorite show, Scandal.
