Sophia Vasilakopoulos

Sophia Vasilakopoulos is a senior majoring in Communication at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign who joined the ATLAS Internship Program to gain hands-on PR experience. As a Social Media Intern for Feeding Our Kids, she designs posters, contributes event photos to newsletters, and helps update the organization’s annual report. Through this internship, Sophia has strengthened technical skills in graphic design and soft skills like time management and clear communication. One key lesson she’s learned is that it’s always okay to ask questions when a task feels unclear. After graduation, she plans to pursue a master’s degree in Journalism, and fun fact: she enjoys shopping and watching Hulu shows.
