Stephanie Zhou

Meet Stephanie Zhou, a freshman majoring in Statistics in her first semester interning. She first heard about the program through the career fair and decided to join to better understand collaborating with a team to develop technological skills. She works as a learning management system (LMS) designer for the ATLAS program itself. Within her role, she is currently working on a web development module that reaches the ATLAS skill tracks. She is creating two separate debugging assignments that allow individuals to test their proficiency in web development as well as 3 pages of tutorials to help people learn website development. As an LMS designer, she primarily has to use the Canvas LMS space, which she has used to create pages, assignments, and modules. Through her experience with the program, she has broadened her understanding of communication, time management, and presentation and become more proficient at each. She has also learned the importance of being responsive with supervisors and co-workers. Post college, Stephanie plans on pursuing a career as a data scientist. Outside of school, she enjoys drawing, crocheting, running, and ice skating.
