Tanvi Kamat, a senior majoring in Computer Science and Economics at the University of Illinois. She serves as the Sisterhood CoChair for Alpha Omega Epsilon, a STEM sorority here at UI. Tanvi joined the ATLAS Internship Program to gain professional experience before graduation and contribute meaningfully to campus. Currently in her first semester as a Training & Performance Improvement Intern with University Payroll & Benefits (UPB), Tanvi leads efforts to enhance internal process documentation in OneNote, conducts weekly meetings with department managers, and explores AI tools to automate workflows. She has also improved UPB’s customer service chatbot using CoPilot Studio to enhance client interactions. Working closely with her co-intern and managers, she has learned the value of initiative and continuous growth, understanding that professional development extends beyond assigned tasks. Looking ahead, Tanvi plans to pursue a master’s degree or a career in technology or finance. Outside of academics and work, she enjoys watercolor painting, watching horror movies, and baking delicious creative sweet treats with her roommates.
