Yichi Zhai

Yichi Zhai is a senior majoring in Math & Statistics and serves as a Data Analyst Intern with the University of Illinois Police Department. She is currently focused on analyzing and organizing the K9-therapy dog training and deployment data. She is responsible for ensuring that the data is accurately recorded and easily accessible for future analysis, which involves database management and possibly developing a more streamlined data entry system. Through her ATLAS Internship, Yichi has gained valuable skills in advanced data analysis, effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. In the future, she hopes to become an Operations Research Analyst.
