Version 2 of the ATLAS Framework coming this January

Date
11/11/19

ATLAS has been working an new version of the framework that powers 37 LAS department websites.  The new version brings some new features while not departing radically from the current design.  You can see a preview of the new design now on our demo site.  You can see the full list of new features here, but a few highlights are listed below.

  • Thinner header, wider pages - The top of every page now takes up less vertical space and the body of the pages are wider.  All this gives more focus to the content of each page and pushes the navigation and site titles out of the way.
  • New editing tools  - The Content Page combines the best of Basic Page and Fancy Page into a single tool that includes a simplified Rich Text tool, a revamped Menu Block tool, and a brand new Call To Action tool.
  • Predefined image sizes - When adding images to pages, you will now be able to set them to Small, Large, or have the option to choose from several standard sizes.
