David Farrell is a sophomore studying English education. He is working with the Urbana Neighborhood Connection Center. David is working on creating a Google classroom on college and career readiness for incoming college freshman/high school students. It features online resources such as financial aid information and resume help. He is hoping to teach high school English or History in his future. He is grateful that ATLAS has helped sharpen his software skills, which he thinks will be useful for his career as a teacher. His favorite part of his internship is being able to work and build connection with a community organization. David’s favorite part of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is the student section at football games!
