Eleanor Henricksen

Eleanor Henricksen, an English major entering her junior year, has embraced the ATLAS Internship Program with enthusiasm and dedication. Having spent two semesters as an intern, Eleanor discovered the program through department emails and newsletters, and decided to join to gain valuable practical and professional experience. Currently, she works as an Assistant Program Coordinator for the Data Explorers Series, under the guidance of Michelle Rome.

In her role, Eleanor meticulously plans, coordinates, and executes the program's logistics. She excels in scheduling speakers and tracking progress, ensuring a seamless experience for all participants. Her responsibilities also extend to researching and curating relevant content, which she shares to spark engaging conversations within the Microsoft Teams channel. As a discussion moderator, Eleanor addresses participant questions and gathers feedback to continuously enhance the program.

Through her internship, Eleanor has developed a robust set of technical skills, including data analysis and content curation using various exploration tools. She has also honed her proficiency in collaboration and communication platforms like Microsoft Teams. These experiences have not only strengthened her content curation abilities but also boosted her analytical skills by monitoring program metrics and implementing improvements based on feedback.

While Eleanor is still contemplating her future career path, her favorite animals—bunnies—reflect her gentle yet determined nature. Her journey with ATLAS exemplifies how dedication and a passion for learning can lead to personal and professional growth.
