Heidi Kang is a senior studying statistics. She heard about the ATLAS Internship Program through an email sent out by the Department of Statistics. She is working for the Student Money Management Center (SMMC) as a Data Analyst. Heidi is working with a team of interns to analyze the Center’s data concerning their social media outreach. She is then taking that data to decide what actions can be taken to better establish connections with students on campus and to get students more informed about money management. At the moment, Heidi is unsure of what she wants to do in the future, but she is open to anything! She is so thankful for her experience with ATLAS and everything it has taught her. She says that this program has a special place in her heart for giving her so much experience analyzing actual data. Heidi’s favorite place to travel is California!
