Jessica Yun is a freshman studying communications. She is working with Dr. Mehta, a professor in the Department of Religion. Her project has her comparing two different versions of Vogue magazine; one that is published in India, and another in the United States. She is doing this comparison with regard to certain words, but paying particular attention to references about Bollywood and/or Hollywood. Essentially, her team is trying to see what term is referenced more - Bollywood or Hollywood. Jessica is hoping to work for the government one day. Through ATLAS, she has learned to work with spreadsheets more effectively, a skill she believes will be beneficial to her in her future endeavors. Jessica's favorite part of the ATLAS Internship Program is that it gives her the opportunity to work with and assist professors in research. Lastly, in her free time, Jessica enjoys reading or watching YouTube!
