Jiayue Zhang is a statistics major who is currently a senior. She received a variety of emails about the ATLAS Internship Program and decided to apply! She is currently working with the Student Money Management Center (SMMC) as a Data Analyst. Jiayue has been working with a team to determine the unique financial challenges that international students face. She started by creating a survey for all the international students to fill out; after that, she and her team will take that data and analyze the results. She is hoping to discover the international student’s spending habits and behaviors. Jiayue is hoping that her and her teams research will be published in a journal once the project. In the future, Jiayue wants to be a Business Analyst. She is grateful that the ATLAS Internship Program has taught her how to work within the data analysis process, as she will need such knowledge in her future. Her favorite part of the ATLAS Internship Program is that she was able to work with a team. Lastly, her favorite place to eat on campus is Bangkok Thai because she LOVES Thai food!
