Wajid Siddiqui is a sophomore studying computer science and statistics at the University of Illinois. He heard about the Internship Program through an email sent by the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences and decided to apply! Wajid interns as a Website Developer for Dr. Monica Fabiani, a professor in the Department of Psychology. He is tasked with restructuring the current Cognitive Neuroimaging Lab website to make it more functional and user-friendly for mobile users. Throughout his internship, Wajid has learned how to interact with a client in a professional setting, developed better communication skills, and built a website from the ground-up. He has also increased his proficiency in HTML/CSS, report writing, and note taking. He knows he will put these skills to use in his future career in software engineering. Finally, his favorite show is Prison Break!
