Room G3 LCLB is a fixed-desk computer classroom located in the northeast corner of the basement and is available for use by the College of LAS, or by other University purposes for a fee. It is about 30’ deep by 25' wide. To enter, you must first pass through a small foyer. The room features a carpeted floor and central air. The projector system is operated by a push-button control pad.

Furniture

  • Fixed desks in 3 rows, aisle in the middle
  • 1 ADA height-adjustable desk for students
  • Height-adjustable chairs and a pair of adjustable stools with personal tables/trays for collaboration
  • Instructor: 1 height-adjustable desk, 1 movable table and chair
  • Marker boards and transparency OHP with separate projection screen

Display

  • Projector on the North wall
  • Operated by a push-button control pad on the desk
  • ATLAS Classrooms offer instructors a resident Windows computer connected to a laser projector, which is operated by a push-button control pad. Our stations also feature an HDMI port for laptops and other personal devices (cable is provided), as well as an AppleTV for people with Apple iOS and OX devices that have Airplay - also for Windows/Android users who have installed AirParrot 2 on their device.

     

Audio

  • 2 wall-mounted speakers and a series of ceiling speakers are connected to all source inputs.
  • Headsets with microphones are available on request when you make a room reservation. Alternatively, you can stop by FLB G89 and ask the help desk for assistance.

    Also, microphones for instructor use are also available for checkout at the LCLB G89 help desk.

Access

  • Desk staff in room G8 LCLB will unlock the room about 10 minutes before class
  • The instructor podium is NOT locked
