Room G52 LCLB is a fixed-desk computer classroom located in the basement and is available for use by the College of LAS, or by other University purposes for a fee. It is about 30’ deep by 25' wide. The room features a carpeted floor and central air. The projector system is operated by a push-button control pad and is connected to a computer.

Furniture

  • Fixed desks in 3 rows in a U-shape around the room walls, with 1 height-adjustable desk
  • Instructor: 1 height-adjustable desk, 1 movable table and chair

Displays

  • The primary projector on the north wall is operated by a remote control and projects onto a marker board.
  • The secondary projector displays onto a screen on the South wall. You must use one of the student computers (via wired or wireless keyboard).
  • Room G52 FLB offers a wall-mounted LCD projector, operated by remote control, which is connected to a resident Windows computer, as well as an AppleTV for people with Apple iOS and OX devices that have Airplay - also for Windows/Android users who have installed AirParrot 2 on their device.

Audio

  • Primary screen: has a speaker system
  • Secondary screen: internal computer audio only
  • Headsets with microphones are available on request when you make a room reservation. Alternatively, you can stop by LCLB G89 and ask the help desk for assistance.

    Also, microphones for instructor use are also available for checkout at the LCLB G89 help desk.

Access

  • Desk staff in room G8 LCLB will unlock the room about 10 minutes before class
  • The instructor equipment is NOT locked
